These terms govern your use of Ink Atlas ("Ink Atlas", the "service"), operated by Aria Codeworks Ventures. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy, Content Policy and Copyright & Takedown policy.
1. Who can use Ink Atlas
You must be at least 13 years old. Some books are rated for older readers, and mature (18+) books are only shown to adults who have opted in. You agree that the date of birth you give us is accurate. If you are under the age required in your country to consent to these terms, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at hello.codaria@gmail.com if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
3. Reading
Books and chapters on Ink Atlas are written by their authors, not by us. We do not endorse them and cannot promise they are accurate, complete or suitable for you. You may read, save and discuss books for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish or redistribute other people's work.
4. Writing and publishing
You keep ownership of everything you write. By publishing on Ink Atlas you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute your work through the service, and to make the technical copies needed to run it. This licence ends when you delete the work or your account, except for copies in routine backups that expire on their normal cycle.
You promise that:
- you wrote the work, or have the right to publish it;
- it does not infringe anyone's copyright or other rights (see our Copyright & Takedown policy);
- you have chosen an honest maturity rating, and the work follows our Content Policy.
5. What you may not do
- Break the law or help anyone else do so.
- Publish content that breaks our Content Policy, including any sexual content involving minors, which we remove immediately and may report to the authorities.
- Misuse the service: attempting to access other people's accounts, probing or attacking the service, scraping it, or overloading it, including the AI assistant.
- Use the AI assistant to generate content that breaks these terms, or try to bypass its limits.
- Lie about your age, or use the service to harm or harass others.
6. Moderation
Readers can report books and chapters. Our moderators may review reports and may hide (suspend) a book, require a different maturity rating, or close an account. We will usually tell the author why. We are not obliged to monitor everything published and do not guarantee that all breaches are found.
7. Quill, our AI assistant
The assistant is powered by a third-party AI model. Its answers can be wrong, so check anything important. Your questions are sent to the AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. It is limited per user per day.
AI writing help for writers
Writers on Writer Pro can use AI tools in the editor to suggest what comes next, offer other ways to phrase a passage, give ideas, and rewrite a passage in their own voice. These are only suggestions: the text you send is passed to the AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy, nothing is added to your chapter until you choose it, and you stay the author and are fully responsible for everything you publish, including that it is your own work and follows our Content Policy and Copyright & Takedown policy. We do not claim ownership of what you write or of what the tools suggest to you. When you use these tools on a book you decide whether it carries an "AI-assisted" label (we ask the first time and again when you publish, and you can change it at any time). Suggestions can be wrong, repetitive or too close to existing writing, so read them critically.
8. The service as is
Ink Atlas is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running and your work safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we recommend you keep your own copy of anything you write. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content written by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending things
You can stop using Ink Atlas at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello.codaria@gmail.com. We may suspend or end the service or your access where needed, for example to enforce these terms or to comply with the law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If the changes are material we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live. Questions: hello.codaria@gmail.com.
